Admission into AMHA's program begins with a comprehensive assessment to evaluate an individual's appropriateness for services.  Individuals seeking methadone maintenance treatment must meet eligibility criteria set forth by Federal and State regulations.  Individuals currently receiving methadone maintenance at another agency but looking to transfer to AMHA, should have their counselor contact the Clinical Program Manager to discuss the transfer process.

To begin the admissions process, please call 215-923-4202 and dial '0' to speak with the receptionist.  You may also come in person between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday.  You will be asked to complete a short screening interview and if initial eligibility criteria is met, you will be scheduled for an assessment.    At the time of your assessment, you will need to bring current, state-issued photo ID and your insurance card.
